Soror Shaundria Woodard - Candidate for SWR Anti-Grammateus

Soror Shaundria Woodard, Life Member #1960, is a proud native of Brazoria, Texas and a woman deeply committed to family, service, and community. She is honored to announce her candidacy for the 2026–2028 Southwestern Region Anti-Grammateus.
For more than 25 years, Soror Woodard has served in the United States Army, a career that has shaped her strong commitment to governance, accountability, and disciplined leadership. That same commitment defines her sorority service and reflects her dedication to advancing the collective mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She previously served as the Southwestern Region Anti-Grammateus from 2014 to 2018, where precision, consistency, and trust were essential to fulfilling the responsibilities of the role.
Currently, Soror Woodard serves as Epistoleus for the Gamma Sigma Alumnae Chapter in Houston, Texas and is an active member of the Southwestern Region Military Initiatives Committee. She has also held several key leadership positions, including Chapter Basileus, 1st Anti-Basileus, 4th Anti-Basileus, Elections Chair, and Nominations Chair. Each of these roles required integrity, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of the sorority’s policies, procedures, and governing documents—skills that are critical to the effective execution of the Anti-Grammateus role.
Soror Woodard’s leadership style is grounded in preparation, consistency, and service. She believes that strong leadership is not performative, but dependable, ethical, and rooted in respect for the sorority’s legacy. She leads with integrity, upholds accountability, and serves with purpose.
