It is our honor to introduce Soror Cerita K. Burrell, candidate for Southwestern Region National Education Fund Trustee for the 2026–2028 term.

Soror Burrell is a committed leader whose service reflects a deep passion for educational access, financial stewardship, and sustainable impact. With more than a decade of dedicated service to Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., she has demonstrated progressive leadership at both the chapter and regional levels, consistently aligning vision with action.

Professionally, Soror Burrell brings over 15 years of nonprofit leadership and project management experience, with a strong background in fundraising strategy, financial oversight, compliance, and partnership development. Her expertise uniquely positions her to support the mission of the National Education Fund by strengthening scholarship opportunities, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and expanding NEF’s reach through mission-aligned collaborations.

Currently serving as the appointed Southwestern Region NEF Trustee, Soror Burrell offers continuity, institutional knowledge, and a steady hand—ensuring seamless regional engagement and forward-focused leadership.
