Why Your Presence Matters: A Call to Action on Maternal Health in Louisiana
In Louisiana, Black women face alarming disparities in maternal health, with higher mortality rates and systemic barriers to quality care. Black maternal health is in crisis—Black women are four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women.
This isn’t just a statistic—it’s our reality, and now is the time to act.
