Welcome to the official site of the Southwest Region of Sigma Gamma Rho  Sorority, Inc. It is my pleasure to serve as the 19th  Syntaktes. To each of you, thank you for your vote of confidence with the selection of the 2006-2008 Southwest Leadership Team.

The theme chose for this administration is: “The Journey Begins and Ends With Us - Increased Membership, Increased Responsibility." As we journey into the age of technology our website will be new and improved. Soror Chantay P. Canty will serve as the Southwest Region IT Team (SWIT) Technical Facilitator and will maintain the site from Russia while Soror Glenda Clausell will be our local SWIT Technical Co-Facilitator. As you can see the Southwest Region has truly gone international and high tech.

As members of this region, I ask that each of you commit to increasing the Sigma Sisterhood, maintaining high scholastic attainment and increasing our service to the community by participation in our National Project, Project Reassurance, on the local, regional and national levels. Sorors and affiliates will join together to share one vision: Greater Service, Greater Progress. Your leadership team is committed to this vision and to in depth training of our Sorors, Philos and Rhoers.

As you continue to browse this site, doors will be open to our wonderful region. You will experience areas of involvement in scholarship, sisterly love and community service. Southwest Region chapters are invited to link your chapter sites to the internet super highway of the Southwest Region. Our official site will be a work in progress and we will continue to be “under construction” as “The Journey Begins and Ends With Us."
